World Café

The third day of the conference will focus on broader implications of the previous discussions on Multifunctional Land-Use Systems and Resource Management in Resilient Cities and synthesize them with respect to policy implications. After a keynote speech focusing on the linkage between the Nexus Approach and the SDGs, 60 minutes will be set aside for roundtable discussions. Multiple tables will be set up in the main hall with assigned, pre-defined questions, reflecting the main themes of DNC2017. Participants will be free to choose which question they find most interesting and sit down at the respective table. An expert in the field will moderate the discussion and summarize the key points. These discussions will be essential for capturing major issues and outcomes of DNC2017 and for identifying research gaps, points of debate, etc. for conceptualizing DNC2019.
