Accepted contributions will form part of the conference programme and contribute to knowledge exchange among experts and decisionmakers.
Since 2015, the Dresden Nexus Conference has been the leading international platform for the Resource Nexus approach, bringing together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, UN agencies and civil society. After ten years in Dresden, DNC now leaves Germany for the first time: DNC 2027 convenes in Barcelona for a Mediterranean Edition to link the conference’s focus on integrated management of environmental resources to the host region’s environment that is characterised by water-scarcity, and the question of managing the land–sea continuum that is of particular relevance to coastal regions such as those of the Mediterranean.
