Countdown to Dresden Nexus Conference 2027

Since its inaugural edition in 2015, the Dresden Nexus Conference has developed into an international platform for dialogue on integrated resource management and the Resource Nexus. The tenth-anniversary edition, held in Dresden in April 2025, convened the global Resource Nexus community across research, education, policy, governance and practice.

A new chapter in Barcelona
In 2027, the conference will enter a new phase with its first edition outside Germany. DNC Mediterranean Edition 2027 will be held at Sant Pau in Barcelona, Spain, from 27–29 April 2027, under the theme “Advancing the Resource Nexus: from the Source to Sea Continuum”.

Call for Submissions
The opening of submissions on 1 October 2026 will formally launch the next stage of the conference programme, providing an opportunity for researchers, policymakers and practitioners to contribute perspectives on integrated resource management and pathways from knowledge to action.
