DRESDEN-concept Science and Innovation Campus<\/h2>\n

DRESDEN-concept<\/a> is the research alliance of TU Dresden and local extramural research and cultural institutions. A total of 33 partner institutions have joined forces in the association to bundle synergies and jointly develop the Dresden science hub into a DRESDEN-concept Science and Innovation Campus.<\/p>\n

The acronym DRESDEN stands for D<\/strong>resden R<\/strong>esearch and E<\/strong>ducation S<\/strong>ynergies for the D<\/strong>evelopment of E<\/strong>xcellence and N<\/strong>ovelty and emphasizes the focus of the collaboration: by networking across the boundaries of institutions and subjects, DRESDEN-concept offers researchers an ideal place for science and innovation.<\/p>\n

Leibniz Research Network Biodiversity<\/h2>\n

The diversity of life is valuable: it guarantees people goods and services such as clean water, food and raw materials. Biodiversity is the basis for health and a stable environment. Diverse habitats mean secure yields in agriculture, mitigate the effects of climate change and increase the attractiveness of locations. One of the key challenges is to reconcile the goals of national and international biodiversity agreements with the often competing objectives of climate, energy, agricultural and economic policy. The Leibniz Research Network Biodiversity combines the expertise of Leibniz institutions in the environmental, social, life, spatial and economic sciences to develop sustainable solutions: https:\/\/www.leibniz-verbund-biodiversitaet.de\/en\/<\/a><\/p>\n
