Visa Information

Participants requiring a visa for entry into Germany are strongly advised to submit their application in their home country at least two months before the intended date of travel.

Please contact your nearest German/Schengen Embassy, Consulate or your Travel agency for more information. If you are not flying directly to Germany please note that a transit visa might be needed for some countries in order to be able to continue your travel to Germany.

If a letter of invitation is needed for the visa application, please follow this link. The DNC Secretariat will prepare the letter after you have registered and full payment has been received.

The letter of invitation does not represent a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide financial support. The deadline to request an invitation letter for use in seeking a visa is 17 April 2017. Visa letters requested after 17 April will still be sent to the participants, but DNC2017 will not be able to reimburse your registration fee should your visa not be granted.
